Integra or Accord?
Hi,
I'm looking to buy a new daily driver and have been looking at either a DA Integra or a double wishbone Accord. If I did choose the Accord it would probably be an early to mid '90's.
Anyways, I'm going to keep it stock for now but eventually I would like to get it to break into the 14's and the 1/4 mile and handle well. Which do you think would be easier overall? Which would you guys choose?
I'm kind of leaning towards the Integra simply because the F22's and Accords don't seem to be boosted much unless I decide to stick NA. Do you think that I could get those times sticking NA or would it cost way more than FI? How much do you think it would cost on both for NA and FI? Which route would you guys choose for reaching these times, NA or FI?
Thank you!

For performance, the Integra is by far the better way to go. First off, it is a lighter car. And it is not possible to get more power into an Accord than an Integra. Also, the B-series motors in the Integra has a FAR better aftermerket than the F-series motors in the Accords. Of course, you can swap an H-series motor into an Accord. But yo can also swap an H-series (and possibly K-series) into the Integra.

Bolt-ons won't get a B18A Integra into the 14's. However, many people get there (and beyond) using forced induction and/or VTEC heads. Some people even get there with allmotor mods to the B18A (although this is not the easiest way to go). Yet others do engine swaps of various types (ie B18C1/5 or H22A).

alright. i was in this particular situation myself. heres what i did, dont waste your time on the DA or b series for that matter, im not hatin, its the truth. i have a 92 accord coupe 5speed. that i bought for 1300. i got a full JDM H22 swap with LSD tranny for 3400 with a 6 month warrenty. and i eat any bseries on the road with the same mods as me, and its the prefect daily driver please take my word for it. plus the look on people faces when they see a 14 year old car rip them a new one.
edit. btw look at my sig, but for only a short ram intake and world sport 2 exhaust i run 14.4 on shitty tires and 14.2 on drag radials, try doing that in a DA with a bseries
