I just got my transmission rebuilt and my clutch replaced on my sohc 1.6L 1998 Civic. I drove about 400 miles - the car sat for about a day, then I drove it and when I got off the highway, I stopped at the light and then when I put it in 1st to move forward the engine revved but I just rolled down the hill to the other side of the street. Luckily a relative was able to come tow me to his place, but I'm stumped with this problem. I Imagine it must have something to do with the clutch but I don't really know where to start. Any Ideas?

take it back to the place who did it or drop the tranny again.

 

snap the axle back in

 

imma have and say that the axle fell out
