Default Is a 15.8 pretty good for a stock d16z6 swapped 91' dx?

I'am building a turbo d16z6 crx and have 550cc injectors+255lph fuel pump+chipped p28+crome pro.

I first went with using the phearable base turbo tune and ran a
17.0@80 w/ a 2.6 60'

I went last weeks after loading up a base p28 program and using the injector corrector w/ a little tweaking and ran a
15.8@86 w/ a 2.5 60'

Does that sound about right? I know the car is still runnning a little too rich and is completely stock

It's already turbo? I would expect those #'s on a D16Z6'd CRX BEFORE turbo!

Is the turbo is connected to the exhaust manifold? If it is then it is not a good number. If there's no turbo involved just running on motor then its not bad.

I ran a 15.9 in a 88 CRX DX with 223k on the clock. Mods were MPFI conversion, IHE, and that's about it. I think you should be doing a little better, but that car does weigh more. Running rich will slow the heck out of ya, bolt the turbo on that sucker.

I can see how it was a little unclear...

NO, this is before the turbo with just a stock d16z6 and big injectors+crome. Iam still waiting on my manifold from SLS

Just the Z6, mid to low 15s...I ran 15.9 with winter tires, worn out engine bushings, O2 sensor on 87 pump gas with a SOHC ZC with only a CAI, 100% stock everything else, even to the single pea shooter exhaust.

Your 15.8 is very, very, very slow for turbo...I mean, a good tune on a SOHC ZC 14b 'backyard' setup is in the 13s, videos of a 13.0 in the CRX video thread at the top.

Your car is some slow.

I consistently trap 16.1xx at 85.xx mph in my Z6 Sedan. Damn 2.5 60's....

10.8 in the hatch.

In a d15B with a greddy/custom(176 hp) kit a buddy of mine ran a 8.8 in the 1/8th mile Here in Houston,Tx.

Another Sohc friend (All-Motor) ran a 14.1 at the 1/4 Mile with open diff and azenis[spinning mind you].
