i need to get new remote key. for accord 05
i need to get new remote key. for accord 05
so i went to dealer they ask me just the remote key for about $70
and programm for the remote about $80 so total about $150
so i thoguht i could get cheaper key from ebay i look through ebay
i found one blank remote key for $50 and it says + programming too
and my other question is, on ebay theres lots remote key but it already cuted
i can use that remote key that already cut it?
and just buy that key and go to local dealer and ask them to programm?
does the key work? b.c it already has been cutt.

A generically cut key shouldn't be the same for your application. Chances are because it needs to be cut/programmed by the dealer, there's a reason for that.
On a side note, it's really frustrating when people buy brand new cars and skip out on simple, CORRECT repairs.

no harm in trying to save money, chill out man. just because people can afford brand new cars doesn't mean they have to pay dealer prices for everything. if it frustrates you, you have a problem and you should just not reply.

and search around and call all of your local Honda dealerships. I've found that some have cheaper prices on certian things. You could maybe shave off 20 bucks on that programming.
