Default New to Suspension Forum: D-Spec from Tokico.

Wanting to further upgrade the suspension on my EM2, and I have partially settled on a Tokico DSpec Adjustable shocks and Tein S-Tech springs setup.

Just wanting to get a little input from people that have used either or both the shocks and springs.

I had a setup of the KYB AGX and Tein S-Techs on my GST Eclipse, so I know a little about the Tein's.

Any knowledgeable help is welcomed.

Your first post is after 5 on a Friday, after most people have left work for the day. You're more likely to get an answer during the work day, when people are online.

Be patient. You can't expect a reply when no one is online.

Why use a spring that soft? And it's only going to lower you like what? 1.5"?

See, I dont know, thats why Im open to suggestions.

I just want something that maintains near OEM ride quality, but makes it look good with a decent 1.5" to 1.7" drop.

I have no clue how much suspension an Eclipse has stock, but I would venture to guess that its more than your Honda. With a nearly 2" drop, you don't want OEM ride quality. You need stiffer springs to compensate for the reduced suspension travel, or you'll be bottoming out and riding the bumpstops all the time. And with stiffer springs, you need more shock to control them, or you'll bounce.

Not sure on the EM1, but my DC2 with a 2.5" lowering and GC extended top hats only has around 1" of front suspension travel before hitting the bumpstops, and not much more than 1" of bumpstop travel before the UCA contacts the top hat.
