i know that the b-pipe is too short (from what I've read) so i'm planning on having the flange cut off and the b-pipe extended forward to meet the JDM ITR cat, but when I tried to test the fit of the 3 studs on the cat through the 3 bolt flange on the USDM b-pipe, it didn't seem like it fit at all (Although it could have been heatshields in the way).
Will I need a different 3 bolt flange, or can i have my exhaust shop open up the holes on the flange on the b-pipe a bit? any recommendations?

DOnt know if you got your answer yet. I havent a clue. I know that the JDM header and Cat are obviously a larger diameter then that of the USDM parts. Is the b-pipe the same diameter from USDM to JDM?
you need to cut the usdm exhaust.
the jdm cat is longer. thats what i did with my setup,
jdm header & cat, USDM ITR catback & exhaust.

The JDM 3 bolt flange is a bit larger in bolt circle diameter than USDM. Just elongate the holes in the b-pipe slightly with your dremel or a round file.

that's what i'm talking about. okay, so open up the holes on the b-pipe flange to match the bolt circle diameter of the studs on the cat. then i need to cut the USDM ITR b-pipe shorter to fit with the JDM cat? i thought the USDM b-pipe was too short to use with a JDM header and cat and that it needed to be lengthened. am i mistaken?

JDM ITR cat = 12-13" long
USDM Cat = 17" long
You're gonna have to extend your b-pipe 4-5". Also if you're running OBD2, I believe the JDM cat doesn't have a spot for the secondary O2. You'll have to get a bung welded into the cat or the b-pipe.
