Rookie needs exhaust for his 03 Element... Suggestions?
Is there a bolt on exhaust for the E yet? Im still new to all this, just barely getting an AEM intake, but I would like to start planning (drooling), and shopping around. If not, does anyone have any suggestions about a decent exhaust set-up for the E? This car is my daily driver (its actually a work vehicle), so Im not looking to get too crazy, but I would like to do the exhaust since Im doing the intake.
thanks,

Hey!
I've spent a ton of timeover the last few months looking for stuff for the E. There is only one company making a bolt on set-up right now and that is Injen. Their setup is only for 2wd elements though. I cant use it as I have an awd 06 exp.
I did go down to a couple of local exhaust shops and got a couple of estimates and they where both around $250 to do a cat back setup with magnaflow or gibson muffs.
I am just getting ready to get mine done in the next week.

Well as a work vehicle why do you want to drive around with the buzzing all day? To me you will get annoyed with it because our cars arent performance types. IMO dont do it, save he cash and do something with your E that will give you useful satisfaction, like the all season floor mats, the tailgate attachment, the all weather seat covers, stuff that may actually stay with the car and be worth something in the future.
I have had mine for 3 years now and I am close to getting most of the accessories that I needed. I already have the roof rack, the side steps, the interior bike attachment, splash guards, sunroof, tailgate bench, table leg kit, kayak attachment, all season floor mats, the waterproof seat covers, and some other goodies that make driving more tolerable. just my opinion though.
