CRX HF was a 1.3L?
I ran across this article that said http://www.welovehondas.com/crx.htm the hf was a 1.3 I thought it was a 1.5 just with a special tranny..?

Not true. The HF had a 1.3 liter ONLY in 1984 and 1985. In 1986-1987, it had a 1.5.

This was before the epa corrected their testing practices and reduced highway numbers by ~20%, 67 mpg is bullshit.

My crx dx with an hf tranny gets 50 in mixed driving, so it's not impossible.
Anyway, just because it's smaller doesn't mean it's better, it was also carb'd and prolly not built as efficiently as the new hf engines were.
