Default Ebay Special Turbo Kit Idea

I had an idea for a turbo, I was thinking of spending like 5-600 on a turbo kit on ebay, one of the crappy ones you guys seem to hate, then replacing the parts as they break. Is this a bad idea? Would I be risking severe engine damage?

youll replace the manifold as it breaks. and run a chance of loosing your wategate.

so now you have a messed up wastegate and a cracked manifold and you can only replce it with the same brand and design.

and downpipe no longer fits.

ok you buy or get the downpipe made and modify the fmic piping. then you find your messed up gate no longer works properly or the turbo goes out ..

how often do you like working on your car ??
