CABLE TRANNY SEARCHED
i got a B16 cable tranny and i dont know what year it was so i bought a 90-91 clutch and pres plate and it bolts up but when i drive my car there is a grinding sound in it???? i did put on the realease bearing properly
would a 92-93 tranny fit into a 90-91 clutch??? just making sure i didnt bought a wrong tranny or the tranny i bought is messed up

90-91 and 92-93 input shafts have the same spline count...but the size of the splines are different...you could have a 90-91 tranny and put a 92 clutch disk on it since the 90-91 has smaller splines but I don't think it would fit the other way...the pressure plate has to match the flywheel so if it bolted on you are cool there...
I guess there is the possibility that you had a 92-93 tranny and the clutch fit but I would think it would be to tight but maybe that is your grinding

but when i put up my tranny it fits perfectly like the input shaft goes in the clutch with out a problem plus i used a integra type r flywheel on a 90-91 exedy clutch
would it grind like that or is it my input shaft bearing?
plus everytime im in idle there is this grind sound and when i drive it the grind gets louder then on 4th it wont catch up then on 5th it goes out of gear!!!
i hate that guy who sold me this busted tranny!!!! i got scammed!!!
