2006 Honda Civic EX Coupe
Hey Guys. I just recently traded in a 03' TL-Type S for this car. Reason was I was driving alot and needed good gas milage. Anyways, I was wondering if this EX had 6 speakers or 7 speakers + Sub.
I am from Canada, so I don't know if that makes a difference.
But the American Honda website stated 7 speakers with sub. The canadian 6 speakers, I think in store said 7 speakers with sub but that's why I'm here to clarify.
BTW, how is everyone enjoying their civics, I know its not 260hp like my TL but it sure doesn't take $65 to fill up ever 2 or 3 days.
Im too young for a TL.

Interesting, the Canadian website says 6 speakers. The Canadian brochure says 7 speakers + Sub. The American Website says 7 Speakers + Sub.
I think it may be 6 speakers + 8' sub.
I'll let you know when my order is in.

Doesn't it also say 6 speakers for the LX too? Because Ive seen it on the car sticker and on the website but I can't find the other 2 speakers, All I see is the ones on the door and the behind the rear window
You should go with the Si. Speakers are something that I would not really think about when buying a car. You can always add them easily and for a low cost compared to the $19,000 to $21,000 you may pay for Civic. Not sure what the conversion is in your area. Going from a TL Type S to a Civic EX will be very different. With the Si you will still get good mileage depending on your driving habits.
The subwufer is nice. Call the dealer and ask them. It may be that they come in both ways and is added as an option.

The Civic SI has similar gas mileage to the TL-S so no real point in getting a SI plus the SI here in Canada is very rare, I know someone who ordered one in May and still won't get it until sometime in August.
I just wanted a car that looks nice and has good gas mileage.. the SI's mileage is too low for the amount of driving I do.
The SI is a beautiful car though and is rather quick but so was the TL. I'm thinking more towards the future and I'd rather save the money now and buy the BMW M6 later on.

Enjoy the SI, great car... I would of bought it (or kept my TL) if it wasn't for the long drive everyday.
I'll sacrifice a lil while im young so my future looks mighty bright.
Anyways, its not like im sacrificing much, the new Civics are beautiful.
