SAN DIEGO RIDE THIS COMING SUNDAY (July 30, 2006)
Hey guys, some friends and I are planning a ride this Sunday. We were thinking of going up to Julian, but didn't want to our leathers to melt to our bodies. So here's the ride that we've planned. Del Dios highway to Lomas Santa Fe, then head north on the 101 and maybe stop somewhere along the coast for a bite to eat. If you guys have any suggestions, post them up. From there, I guess head North on the 101 some more to the 78 and the back to where ever you call home.
The meeting place will be the Shell Station. If you're going North on the 15, exit Via Rancho Pkwy and turn left, the Shell station will be on your right. If you're going South on the 15, it will be straight ahead after the exit.
Meeting time will be 9:00am at the Shell station. I'll be riding a Black 600rr, my friend will be on his silver 03' R6 and another guy will be riding an SV, so look out for thoes bikes. Please be on time. We'll leave around 9:10. Hope to see some guys.

well, we didn't want to get caught in the mid-day heat, so we're trying to keep out of the inland. But who knows, we could go to palomar if people are down and the weather permits.
backlash: keep the rubber side down at the track and GL!

hmm, so that wouldn't make sense for you to come all this way just to ride back home. If you have any ideas on how you could meet us along the way, please do.

Oh, I would do it if I could. The road I live on is the super windy awsome one coming out of Rancho Santa Fe right past the country club. Unfortunatly my bucket is down and I haven't been able to troubleshoot it yet.
p.s. when you are going up linea del cielo, look for a small road on the right called avenida maravillas. very fun road to go up

Its all in a good days fun. Usually around 8 there is a quick safety meeting for all the new riders then usually heads out around 8:15. Numbers always varies because its an open invite to those that just like to ride twisties. All skill levels welcomed! We have some racers and some people brand new to the sport so its all good. Its a nice way to see some of the sick roads SD has to offer if you havent seen it yet.
