hi guys im currently building my sohc vtec zc engene... ill be boostin it. just wonderin if it will help if i use ls or b20 rods on my engine... ??????? how much whp can the rods take and also how much boost????? thanks guys!!!

 

Why not just get some eagles? You can run the stock ones if your not going for that much power

im also planin on running eagle rods.. but since we have lots of ls rods on the shop we were planin on using them....by the way how much power can the stock ones take???? thanks!!!

 

there is alot of difference factors that come into play.... the motor they came out of could have been junk and not taken care of so they might not handle that much, But then it could have been taken care of so they might be able to handle more.

It mostly comes down to your tune though.

 

the motors are fresh from the dealership its just that the owner changed the rods into an aftermarket one and left the stock ones at the shop. you think it can handle more power than the stock ZC rods??? thanks!!!
