Greddy Evo2 Exhaust and injen intake
so i finally got my exhaust in this morning at 8am and it was left on my doorstep. dont really like that since i usually sleep til noon and it was left at 8 am. good thing for the dogs i guess. but i get under there this afternoon and put it on and it just doesnt sound loud at all. a little bit more of a growl but not by much. does it get louder the more broken in it gets? i see some people on here have it, so lemme know.
also, installing the injen cold air intake tomorrow. and while looking over the injen recommended instructions it says something about cutting and sanding certain areas?!?! has anyone else installed it? do u have to actually cut and shave anything? any help would be greatly appreciately

Yes, you have to cut two parts out of the plastic mud gaurd by the left wheel. Very easy to do.
Let us know how the car feels after the exhaust is on too. I have the Injen CAI already and am considering the EVO II exhaust for later this year.

The evo2 is a quiet street friendly exhaust. They provide great gains while being deep and not buzzing loud. Your injen intake will be way louder then your exhaust. The greddy evo 2 only gets loud under full acceleration. When a decent header is released besides the crap DC Sports makes the exhaust will be a a more pleasing deep sound. I ran it on my V6 eclipse and it was very quiet until i did the header. Its still not wake up everyone in china loud but its nice and deep and opens up well under full throttle as for the Injen that install was a pain in the *** and the directions suck. Make sure before u do it you get some stainless steel hose clamps two 8mm, two 10mm and two 17mm. And remove the battery and tray that i didnt see the directions tell u about. As for cutting u have to trim some of the mud guard away so the intake pipe cuts through the corner and you wouldnt be able to put them back in place.
Thanks for the info. Good call on the clamps. Mine did not come with clamps for the 17mm hose. The clamps from the 8mm and 10mm come from the PVC piping and hoses you remove.
