Ahem, the black one is an r6 mine is an r1

The diablo's are by far the stickiest tire I've owned But the pilot powers are cheaper and get way more tread life so those will be my next tire

I had the pilots on my gixxer and they were awesome but didn't get much tread life. The diablo's are really nice but at $225 for just the rear I will give the pilots a try on the r1.

Luckily for us we have a shop here that gives a tire protection plan with every tire they install. Mean that for 1 full year you can get up to 3 free tires well you have to pay $40 for them to install each tire but if you were to get a nail in your tire, run out of tread, or anything as long as you don't have burnout evidence then your good.

pretty sweet deal

the best part about it is they don't jack up the price of the tires either I got a battlax put on my gixxer for $145 installed then when I ran out of tread I got a power put on for $40 to install it and $20 for the upgrade I would be getting a new tire now if I hadn't sold it for the r1. I'm not sure how they make any money on that deal but hey I guess most people don't ride 11k miles a year

Compensating low corner entry speed by aggressively rolling on throttle near the apex

What Schu means is that true pimp-riders can wear off the sidewalls of their tires.

Nice wheelie.
