Default JDM EF8 Fog Lights

I just received my JDM fogs through a seller on ebay....Here's the link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1

Now I am wanting to install these bitches! I just have a problem locating the proper brackets for these. I took off my front bumper to try & find them, but had no luck. I've searched already & couldn't find too much info. Once I have the bumper off, everything exposed looks completely different from what I have seen online. My car is a 90 CRX HF w/ JDM front end....Here's a pic w/o the bumper

Please help me out, I just want these damn fogs on already!

Vic

those are not SiR foglights, they are for the 88-89 non-SiR front ends.

my boy bryant did an awesome write up on how to install JDM SiR fogs onto a USDM front:

I know on 88-89 civic hatchback bumpers there is a template on the back of the bumper cover itself. One is for Bosch fogs and the other is for Stanley.

Hmmm. I guess I'm screwed with mounting these fogs. I do see the difference now between my fogs & ef8's. Looks like I'm going to have to make my own brackets then....unless there's another way.

Anyone ever make their own brackets? TIA

Vic

To be honest with you I think you paid to much for the fogs. You can get the SiR's with brackets and harness for 350 or cheaper. I am not trying to be a dick but maybe you should consider selling them and getting some SiR's! Try to get your money back and then just wait to find a clean set of SiR's. Hell if you can't find some I may consider selling you mine!
