and i cant seem to keep the damn thing running. I start it up and it idles for 5-7 min and then just dies and wont restart. I tried opening the banjo bolt on the fuel filter (the one that leads to the motor) and air comes out. i retightend it and the car started again. could it be that hose ? ANY IDEAS

 

water in the fuel? fuel pump i dunno just some possibilities(spelling)

 

The cars been sitting for a year and it has a new fuel filter replaced a few months ago

 

old *** gas or did u put new gas in it. fill it up with hew gas. see what happens. ohh and did u do a tune up on it after it sat that long. that should help also

 

Change all fluids and crap.

 

i added fuel stabilizer and the plugs and wires are i few months old. its still doing it. the car look like it has a carb but its fuel injected. do they sell rebuild kits for them?

 

oh and theres no more air comming out of the fuel line just fuel . could there be a leak in the vacuum line for the first small butterfly before the bigger butterfly? this is my only car and it won even make it around the block to a shop so i have to do it on my own PLEASE HELP

 

its not a carb its just dualpoint
