Hi all, I have a 00' prelude and are trying to put in a 01' accord Euro R ECU. Of course the ECU connectors are not the same and I tried to look for a harness converter but no luck.....


Does anybody know how to convert this or know a company that can convert this???

to spend all that money on something that cant be tuned properly......?

 

juss thought it would be a plug and play type of deal but didn't know it was different until i got the accord R ecu.

i guess nobody knows......

i talked to the good people from boomslang today and there's one problem.... they said there's going to be a problem with your iacv, because they are totally different: (euro r has 3 plug connectors and usdm prelude has 2 and they will not bolt up either) !!!

have anybody tried to fix this problem? if so, is it possible and how????

 

i still just dont understand why you are trying to use this ecu......

 

man i juss don't want to go hondata, i have it already in my turbo itr.... plus i've already bought it... thanks for trying to help me.... if you know anything else i can do to make this work, please let me know....

 

that ecu isnt going to do anything for your car......

 

well, what do you reccomend besides a piggy back ecu like hondata and aem... is there any other factory ecu i can use??

 

whats wrong with the one you have in your car now?

 

nothing, just want to have higher red line and little more fuel. i plan to add crower stage 1 camshafts and raise compression with cometic head gasket to about 11.3:1 ... and probably port and polish the head too. that is just it for my daily drive.

so you don't think i could do anything with this euro r ecu huh???

 

its OBDII. U cant do much of anything useful with it.

 

well, i would like to try to use this ecu.... does anybody know if there's an accord or a prelude that have a 3 wires iacv and will bolt on to h22 int. manifold which normally has a 2 wires iacv.... please let me know... thanks
