How do you tell if you have a real type-s bov?
Bought intercooler piping off somone on here, who said it was real, but a buddy of mine came over and said the opposite. heres a pic... real or not?

they come in purple only unless they changed the cover with the style ones.
if you take the cover off. if theres a o ring around the cover, its a fake . the real ones have the o ring buillt int he diaphram .
also does the side say greddy?

I have an older magazine showing some knockoff parts, one being that bov. I've not seen any knockoff type-s' that use the greddy name, just a flat bar in that spot. The real kicker is the diaphram. It should be a nice molded rubber piece, not a cheap flat part. I think the cheap ones sometimes use single springs; my real type-s has dual springs and a machined/stepped spring seat.
