#4 looks like the part off the top of the IM, near the TB.
I think it might have to do with some type of emissions, either way, I don't have mine plugged in.

1, 2 and 3 are all the sensors that go on the side of the head. 3 looks like the coolant neck to me but i cant really tell. 4 is the plug that sits on top of the IM on a stock GSR

heres my guess..

1 coolant fitting off a head (for the heater hose)
2 fan switch and coolant temp sending unit
3 front coolant neck
4 obd2 evap purge solenoid

(1,2 and 3 are located under the distributer)
(4 is located on top of the intake mani..sometimes on the firewall)

I think number 2 are both engine temp sensors. The one on the right is for the dash gauge and the other is for the ecu.

Theres only 3 (maybe 4) I thought it might be something with the valve cover gasket kit.

oh ok..is it plastic? my next guess would be the spacers that go between the mounting point of the fuel rail and intake manifold

They are plastic I think, they are donut shaped with a groove cut around the donut, like its a grommet.
