Default problem with 04 600rr

my 04 600rr. is sputtering on me while riding, the bike feels like is going to cut-off
we recently replaced the side stand switch, but that did not due anything .
has any one out there have experienced this problem?
what was done to fix it?

it has 12k miles, i am using the same 91 grade chevron fuel. rpm was about 9000 when it started but it did it still a lower rpm and trotle demand.

Havent heard anyone with a problem with the 600rr really besides the battery/stator. Give us some more info on the bike. Mileage? Always sputtering? Just recently? Sputtering from the start or when warm/cold?

Bad gas? No gas? Clogged fuel-line?

600rr's occasionally have fuel pump problems; sputtering starts in the midrange and rises.

It could also be your TPS sensor. SOunds like exactly the problems that I had and it was the TPS.

id say look into the TPS or the fuel pump, both are parts that ive seen go bad on 600rr's time after time.

my bike wasn't a 600rr but a f4i and it did the same thing. my thoughts at first was bad gas..but it ended up to be spark plugs..and with 12k on your bike..it's time to do a tune-up
