Default Wondering if you can put a Vtec head on a B18A1?

I was wondering if you can put a Vtec head on a B18A1????????? Will it work or will it be slow as hell??? OR will it be cheaper just buying an Engine SWAP??? Just wondering.

It will work. Search for lsvtec.

Ok, you first need to search ls/vtec and you need to begin readin,

But I'll help you out. But please in the futur search.


Yes you can.

WHat this is called is Ls/Vtec

You take an ls bottom end, B18A1, B18B

And you put on a Vtec head.

In order to do this you really need to research this,
And its not as simple as just slappping it onto the B18A1 block.

thats wrong theory, if you build it right and take care of the car, ls-v can last.
and do you have ls-v yourself? or you just heard? because from my experience i know for a fact ls-v with right build can last a very long time, dont give this man that

Yeah thats what I said. Just do it right and you'll be fine.

its the ones who spend 500 doing an lsvtec that blow the next week.

why? have you ever built an LS-V? let alone any other motor? Do us a favor and post from experience not from hear say
