B and D Series Alternators...The SAME???

Allrite tried the search link but no luck...
Wanna know if the B and D series alternators are interchangable...they look xactly the same...my homie has one he can give me but its a D series alternator, and i need a B series alternator. we're not sure if it will work the same.
Can anyone help?

It might fit with only 1 bolt, However, I would really
Buy a B alternator, If you need one real bad hit up the local Junkyard,
and spend a few bucks for one, Untill you can buy a new one.
And it doesnt matter what OBD it is, In most cases.
All the B parts are interchangable with other B parts,
so an Alternator for my 90 integra B18A obd0 will fit a 95 OBD2 B18C1

but yea it works i just use the bottom bolt and tighten it good belts tight no play and hey it works oh well

ok back on topic, Its up to you but I would really feel more safe if you got a
correct alternator.

go to a pick and pull and get one i when the other week and seen two das untouch and man i got what i wanted and im in cali rite now too
