So if I get a different pair of rims from some place, it will change the offset?

For the one millionth time. Yes. Get something with a +38 offset, and you won't have issues. I also wouldn't go bigger then a 16x7. Anything bigger then that on a Fit would seem pointless.

so what website sells rims and shows the offset? Will a 16"7.5 be too big?

Are you a special needs person or what?

If you're gonna buy wheels for a car you need to know the bolt pattern and diameter and the offset. Most retailers can tell you what offset you need and provide you with spacers if needed. Check out tirerack.com
