FS: 1992 Civic CX hatch, b18c5, very clean
I have had this car for 4 years, but now I want to get into something a little more street car-ish.
ok here goes
1992 Civic CX
North Carolina car, no rust whatsoever
200k on shell
4k on engine and engine mods
9k on suspension/other mods
Engine/Transmission:
2001 b18c5 short block (purchased brand new from dealer in 2003)
bored .25 over
CTR os pistons
2001 b18c5 head (also brand new in 2003)
1997 JDM ITR cams
1993 GSR OBD1 harness, sensors, etc.
p61 ECU w/zerodaze chip
Apex VAFC
Skunk2 intake mani
Outlaw Engineering intake spacer
Vortech fuel rail and FPR
CTR crank pulley
DC 4-2-1 header (you could really pick up some power here)
OBX race cat (only a resonator)
Apex N1 cat back
Hasport motor mounts
Fidanza 7.5lb flyweel
Exedy organic clutch
JDM J1 transmission
Fluidyne radiator
Suspension:
Tein Type Flex full length adjustable coilovers
Tein EDFC remote damping controller
2001 ITR rear lower control arms
Spoon front strut tower brace
Knockoff ITR rear strut tower brace
Hawk HP pads
ATE super blue fluid
Body:
VIS cf hood
VIS cf duckbill
Wings West RS front lip and sideskirts
Sidemarkers
Clear front corners
Clear lens, black housing headlights (dont remember brand)
Spoon style mirrors
Antenna delete cover
fresh Milano red in ~2001
15" Rota slips
205 50 15 Kumho MXs (50% tread left)
Interior:
Sparco Monte Carlo driver seat
Sparco America passenger seat
Simpson 5-point harnesses
Autopower 4pt roll bar with diagonal and harness bar
Kirkey roll bar padding
Halon fire extinguisher
Fastline road race shifter
ITR shift boot
Pioneer CD player
Kenwood speakers
93 GSR steering wheel
JDM SiR guage cluster
Sparco Grip pedals
The car has no problems whatsoever. The shortblock was brand new from the dealer, and the head was brand new as well. The rebuild with the CTR pistons was done by myself and the guys over at G-Force Race Cars in 2004. I moved to a place without a garage in 2005, so I have driven it probably 1-2000 miles since then, since I keep it stored somewhere else. I had built it for track and auto-x, but work and other things have kept me from driving it. It has basically been sitting garaged since it was finished, except for a few weekends here and there.
With a good header, bigger cams, and brakes, this car would be 'done' IMO.
$10,900
PM me with any questions, or email me at brettnelson@gmail.com
The car is located in Western New York. I will ship the car, but the buyer must arrange the shipping and pay shipping charges.
These are the only pics I had hosted already, I'll get some more together later. I have tons of pics of the engine rebuild, and anything else that you might want to see, so just ask..
