can anyone tell me if all the parts from a B16 head will bolt onto a B18c1 head??

 

basically everything from the b16 head willl fit on the gsr if ur talking valvetrain as in valves, springs, retainers, rockers and stuff. the Intake manifold wont fit tho

 

normally its the other way around people want to put the gsr camshafts into the b16 not b16 into the gsr

 

everything but the intake manifold will swap

 

well.....the thing is.....i came across a b20 vtec setup that dropped a valve and mashed the combustion chamber to rat ****..........so i was hoping to buy just a bare gsr head with the rocker assembly and cam caps, by a bigger and better valve train and swap everything else over from the blown b16 head........(apparently the guy that had it before me put bigger "cat" cams in and didn't change the valve springs to suit, nor break it in properly, and blew it a t the track) but ya........i'm gonna use it on my ls vtec project and i want the gsr head for it's combustion chamber volume ....so i just thought that i'd ask before spending the money if it's not gonna work.
