Fixing A/C evaporator question...

Hey guys,
I was wondering is there any place, or is it even possible to fix an A/C evaporator? It's for my dad's Mercedes and a new one from the dealer is like $900+

Just wondering if it's possible

I'm guessing it's made of aluminum. Try to find a shop that knows how to weld aluminum & ask what they think.

Contact Airmec in Chatsworth (San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles) and see what they can do. I live near them and they have been VERY helpfull. Here is a link to their site;
