Vehicle is a 1995 Honda Accord EX Coupe Stock
Problem: Turn signal lights and rear tail lights stay on all the time. (Even with the key out of the ignition)
Replaced: Turn signal switch (after people told me it was
)
Result: Worked for 1 day until it started doing the same thing.
Now im back to square 1 with a car i have to jump all the time to drive.
No CEL only a SRS light on (which stays on all the time)
Horn does NOT work.
Turn signal works, headlights work, and the high beam all works and functions fine.
Help please! Im stumped.

Im a mech in a garage with Diagnostic tools and its not helping much
Just asking to see if anyone had similar/same problems before.
Would the radio harness being cut have anything to do with this?
Mr Wonderfull: Which harness was melted? The column or tail light harness?
Thanks so far guys

yep that is most likely a short to ground, and if the wires are cut on the radio harness, it is possiable that they are shorting out, but that should only blow the radio fusse i think. still the lights staying on all the time is a wire some were that is bypassing the switch it sounds like, possiably the perminant power wire from the radio. the best
, and most time consuming way
, is to charge the battery. Then with a test light flow the wiers from the lights to the switch, or vise vers.

Hell yeah it would......that was the problem in my old eg...when the deck got stole they cut the harness....touching wires reulted in many blown fuses and hours of frusteration...finally as a last measure we redid the harness and found out what was grounding out...

interesting...i thought the radio harness would only effect the fuse to the radio and cigarette lighter.
i'll take a look into the radio harness and all that wiring.
Thanks for the responses!

The radio is on the same circuit as the parking lights or at least the lighting on the stock radio is.
The illumination wire I believe its orange is probably touching the yellow wire.

No alarm.
UPDATE!!!
The harness (radio) was cut from the previous owner for reasons unknown.
Well, this morning i decided to tap the wires to see if anything will flicker or dim. Turns out, it was the radio harness
Thanks all!
