trim removal

trim removal
i have a 93 civic hatch and im taking off the trim on the doors and fenders. what i want to know is how to fill in the holes laft over. do i just bondo them of what. i already searched and couldnt find anything. any help or a link to help would be great.

there will be holes where the clips were. weld them over. seen people weld pennys from the back side and use a little bondo to smooth
