oooo you are talking about drag racing..........
well if you lose, challenge him to road racing
just make sure all fluids are okay and look under the car to check anything unusual.

Bring the front tires down to about 25 PSI. Pull out anything you don't need. Spare tire, floor mats, subs. Make sure you've got plenty of oil, your air filter is clean, and plugs/wires are in good shape
WHERE are you racing? don't be a dumbass and kill someone. I just read a story in sport compact car about a husband and wife that were killed when they were blindsided by some kid raicng a honda at approx 90 mph. they were celebrating their wedding anniversary and left behine a 7 year odl daughter. do you want to be that guy that orphans a 7 year old? something for everyoen to think about whil eon the streets, play safe.
if you are at a track, sorry , go for it

i almost t-boned some old guy who pulled out in front of me when i was racing at about 90. i saw his eyes go wide as expletive when he saw me. could have been real bad, luckily it wasn't.
The fact you talk about a guy calling you out makes me assume you plan on doing this on the street. If you do plan on doing this on the street, god bless everyone that's on the street, really.

No doubt, that was just here in Toronto. Sadly, we have quite a lot of street racing accidents. Quite often it's even pedestrians walking on a sidewalk... killed by racers who lose control and spin out all over the place.
What is truly unfortunate is that the penalties are so weak. The only high profile case that had a decent penalty, the punk got deported (he hadn't bothered getting a Canadian citizenship)
Racing is so much fun, just do it at the track! Or get a dirt bike and play in a corn field!
