Thats funny.........sure as hell doesnt look like a 2000. For one, it appears to be a 4 lug car. It also has the older style bumper. WTF

hahah,a ctually i have seen the car, u can see those rims are from another car, black fender, grey car,he just put int hat picture to show how the rims look like. but if your ever in sacramento ill show you aND u can see for yourself. otherwise i just wanted to show you guys, im not promoting it or anything, its a sweet car if you see it in real life

 

Looks like someone made their own JDM RHD 4 Door ITR, and now want's to pass it off like it's genuine...

 

The first gen type R's came in 4 lug. They were 4x114.3 That would explain the older style tailgihts.

 

BUT he lists it as a 2000...

 

Unlike the US, JDM taillights on the DC2R/DB8Rs always had the amber turn signals.. This car looks quite legit..

 

Ummm, its still 4 lug, and the bumper is old skool. Definetly not a 2000. Its pretty cool nonetheless........

I think it's funny how people post an add for a J-spec car and list the odometer reading in miles instead of kilometers.

 

they didnt just call it a Type R, it really is one. The 4-door isnt too much slower than the 2-door and they raced the 4-doors as well... its DEFINIETLY an R! Get the Best Motoring Volume 1 to see it in action.

Also whoever said it has an old school bumper is mistaken. It is just missing the lip. However i doubt its a 2000, unless he swapped all the newer parts off. Then of course this could have been done because the cost of the car is so cheap.

One thing i dont like about this deal is that he didnt register it, but he will tell you how. It costs lots of $$$ to register a car like that in the states. That is probably a big reason why he is just getting rid of it instead. If it was registered, that would be a nice price.
