who do you think would win between a stock GSR and a 97 accord with a stock 98 h22a prelude motor in it ( like if they raced 0-60 and 40-100)

 

Depends on what kind of sammich the Accord driver had that day. If it was an Italian hero, the GSR will win by 2 carlengths. If it was a ham and cheese on rye, the Accord takes the GSR by a bus length. Then you have to take into consideration the mustard and mayo ratio.

 

if the GSR driver was filled up on peanut butter and jelly, the accord wouldnt stand a chance.

Do you have any idea how many factors are involved that you havent mentioned? But it all comes down to the driver. On any given day, one driver may beat another driver that couldnt beat another driver on a different day. Get it? Anywho, the GSR will run low to mid 15's, the Accord will run mid to high 14's. If that helps. This posts belongs in kills.

 

i have beat a 98+ gsr at the drag strip. w/ my f22 and home depot intake yeah! i run 16.1 consistently and the "kid" in the GeeSeR was running 16.3 and slower. boy that was fun! haha... some people suck at driving!

alright check this out, i have a 94 ex accord, with i,h,e short shifter and cam gears retarded... and my friend drives a 2001 Integra Gsr with a cold air intake, me and him ran till 3rd gear, honestly man i thought he was gonna just whoop mah ***, but i told him to come around and asked him to run.......well i counted and he jumped first, from that jump i caught up to him passed him a little bit where his front was to my door, i was like WTF???? i could here his vtec kicking in and everything since i have my window down, well we hit 3rd gear and he pulled a little bit, but just up to the end of the fender and that's as far as he got, then before we hit 4th a speed bump was coming so i had to slow down cuz i have a 2 inch drop, man i was really suprised.......but on a 1/8th a mile i found out we both run the same thing...............

 

id say the gsr will beat you off the line since its lighter and *i think* it has low gear ratios for better acceleration. in 3rd gear, your h22-powered accord will stomp his *** into tthe gound. is it me, or does the 3rd gear on prelude trannies PULL VERY HARD?

 

A hybrid 97 Accord better walk all over that GSR's ***.

 

 

hehehe! trust me, I can eeeeasily vouch for that!...ive raced quite a few of those lil things, infact they will take me off the line but when i shift into 2nd gear, "C YA!!!" hehehe...soooo loud to!!... i come pretty close to typeR's even!!

I have an I/H/E H22. Against I/H/E GSRs, from a standstill I have 2-3 car lengths by 60. On the 4000(?) ft back strait at VIR, I real in, pass, and walk on modified GSRs. That's me though. I dunno about a 97 hybrid.

 

try taking an R in the twisties...now that's tough...(unless of course you have an impreza WRX)

 

when I get some tower bars (front and rear) i should, cause Ive got coilovers and fat *** toyo tire sized 215...(ook maybe not that fat)...and a body brace coming!

maybe wont beat it, but it sure wont lose to it by much, i donno, hard to say now!

Try getting a Quaife differential, they work. Really well. Just got one btw. Spent the weekend installing it. The time was worth it. My car can almost take any front-driver through the corners. The only exception a Celica GT-S I see around the area, and for some reason it can out coner ITR's. I am beginning to think it is modified...maybe it's just me.

 

i thought about those to! but man, something like that is expensive!!
