Spark Plug Wire Diagram

A friend of mine gave me this diagram for spark plug placement on a SOHC. Is this the correct way?

That picture is awesome. And yes, that's the correct pattern.

So then my friends diagram is wrong? It seems to be in reverse according to the picture.

Do what's pictured in the picture above, and you won't have any problems.
