Thought you guys might enjoy these pics. I stopped by Type-One today during my trip here to Japan and spotted a new project they are working on.

Spoon Sports 4dr 2006 Civic
Spoon K20A-R
Spoon Monoblock calipers
Spoon Slotted Rotors
Spoon SS brake lines
Spoon Coilovers
Spoon Header/Exhaust
Spoon Gauge Cluster

Those were the only things I could really tell by looking. The K20-R is a '04 unit, with a throttle cable (not dbw).

Sweet pics and the car WOW. Thats hot! I love that front end on the car. Nice headlights also. And WHEN can we get a RPM Cluster with the green needle. I want one!

 

Thanks for the awesome pics man. This makes me wish I went with a white si instead, but I do love my habi red. I like the cluster, but the green needle just looks out of place. IDK, maybe it's just me.

i mean, its dope that they made one in the first place, even more dope how high the revs go to, but just because it's ****** yellow, i'm not even considering it (if it goes on sale that is)

Everybody is going to want a Spoon Tach now. Looks exciting. Wonder why it's not the normal yellow/blue color.

it doesn't look right those.. .who REALLY wants a YELLOW *** tach in their car which matches NOTHING ELSE in the car? i can't justify buying that if they were to sell it

I agree. Myabe blue or red, or all black with white letters and it goes totally dark when off .

Agreed, but knowing people because it's Spoon, they will want it. I meant the car looks exciting, not the tach.

 

maybe the yellow tach does match something.... the valve cover. and maybe the seats they are putting in it are yellow stitched? kinda putting all type r colors in one... championship white, yellow, a little black for nestalgia?

 

why don't our new civics look like that civic's front end.

 

Thats the NON-USDM front end.

Any car sold anywhere other than here I believe has that same front clip.

 

any one think in the future they'll be having front end conversion for the FGs into the non-USDM ones like the one in the pics? Or will it probably not be as popular as ITR front ends?

IMO, I like the front end in the pics better than our USDM.
