This will be a continuously updated post seeing as I am day 5 into my 10 day adventure in Japan. I am traveling here for a combination of business and pleasure, and on the return flight, I am stoppin in Hawaii to stay with Haleiwa-Brando for 5 days and surf/enjoy the island life.

So here goes the photo-journal:

Day 1: MegaWeb Toyota

Since the weather is a mix of mist and clouds, we have decided to fill our free days with more "indoor" friendly activities, not to mention the humidity and temperatures make long travels outdoors uncomfortable. It reminds me of Florida this time of year.

Since my dad is a Toyota Supra fanatic, we decided to make day 1 our day for visiting Toyota's MegaWeb, which includes a new car show room, test drives around their test course, and a history museum.



















This car looks sweet. I wish they would introduce this model into the US market. I think it would sell very well.




I was making my way through the back section of the showroom and stumbled upon this beauty.

Since we were still recovering from the jet lag, we were thrilled to see a familiar stop outside the enterence to the MegaWeb Mall:

That night I ate the most sushi...and loved it.



And I played with my food...

Nice! I was at the toyato megaweb not too long ago (2 months maybe). That place is nice! Makes me wanna go back again! Have fun!

If you like cold green tea, that "One" tea by Coca Cola JPN is the best stuff out there, better than the green teas from Asahi, Ito En, Kirin and Suntory - which is saying a lot

Can it be found over here? Got hooked on Lipton bottled green tea lately, and I'm sure there's FAR better to be found closer to the source.

 

Looks like one hell of a good trip. I really need to go to Japan someday.

EXTREMELY fresh. Although I'm sure it depends on where you eat at. My favorite so far has been the sea-eel.

I had some yesterday at Tokyo Station, it was damn good. That and the Pocari Sweat. Both awesome drinks.

I am going on a plant tour, but not Honda. Since my business partner is high up in Toyota, we are recieving a personal tour of the Toyota plant in Nagoya. Toyota even sprung the bill for the 300kph bullet train to Nagoya.

Yep. Drove a Wish around the test track. My friend drove a bB, and my business partner drove a Century. It was pretty fun for being limited to 40kph
