Default Turbo help

Which turbo kit should I get, I was thinking of an F-Max or Drag kit, but I can't decide (power vs. cost). Are there any others?

omfg

1. you need to post what you drive
2. you need to search
3. you need to go to the forced induction forum...a little ways down the line...and search there also...

also, most people will just suggest making a custom kit

if you are deciding between the two go with the f-max...but i would definitely go custom...i think there's a kit sold online to make a custom turbo but i dunno where to get it...and yes...do search before the sammich war starts!

Why would it be better to go custom over buying a kit??

You can choose the parts/brands that you want.

You can use the sufficient fuel injectors, boost controller, turbo timer, etc.

Getting your pipes custom fitted assure the fact that they will fit and aren't a generic copy of someone elses "supposedly" same car. You always hear of things not matching up etc.

The wait for an FMAX is a pain in the ***, it takes a long, long time to receive it after ordered.

Go custom, get it built to your specs, and get it done right the first time

I may have been unclear, but I drive a 94 Accord EX with a manual. I definitely cannot go custom, as the costs will go through the roof. I am on a budget and I won't mind the wait, I've waited this long...

I would have searched, but for some reason it refuses to work.

if you go custom it'll actually be cheaper than buying the f-max kit you speak of (that is if you can install it yourself...though this is the same with the f-max)...so the custom kit shouldn't be as expensive of a mod...but do some research on these products and then ask more specific questions....good luck!
