Default Timing belt change 2000 3.0L V6 - question on idler rollers

Hi,

I'm planning to change my timing belt on my 2000 Accord 3.0L V6. it's coming up on 105K.

I've done numerous timing belts in other cars, but never in this car before. I always replace EVERYTHING while i'm in there doing a timing belt. I'm planning to replace the following parts: The belt (obviously), tension adjuster (the spring-loaded thing), water pump, idler rollers, crank and cam seals, as well as the serpentine belt, and i'll probably replace the thermostat too, since the cooling system will be drained.

My question is: is the roller on the tensioner arm the same as the idler roller? I can't seem to find the tensioner arm roller in any of the online parts catalogs, all i can find is the idler roller. Sould i get 2 idler rollers, or is the tensioner-arm roller a dealer-only item?

Also, am i missing anything off my list above, that i should also replace? Any honda-specific special tools i need?

Personally, I think your going a little to far on your maintenence, and that's coming from a maintenence freak. But if you insist.

I show the idler pulley and tensioner pulley are different.

Idler pulley part # 14550RCAA01
Tensioner pulley part # 14510RCAA01
Adjuster # 14520RCAA01

This stuff is expensive, you may want to wait until next service, but up to you. Hope this helped.

Ya, i know some say i go a little too far. The way i look at it, for what it would cost me to have somebody do it, and replace only the belt, i can replace everything in there, and still come out ahead.

I can probably get away without replacing the rollers, but at least this way i know i can go for another 105K without ANY of this stuff going bad.

I'll have to call the dealer tommorow, that tensioner pulley is the only one i can't find online. Anyone know where i can get one online (OEM preferrably)
