toped out at low 140 in the redline, in 5th gear, did any way here push it all the way to the rev limiter?

 

A friend of mine had a pic of his speedo taken on night w/ the needle a little past 145 - the factory speedo is off (high) by a few mph tho - I think at the time he had Iceman and exhaust. Most mags (C/D etc, not ricermags) report a top speed on 5th gen of ~ 140.

No prelude will top out passed I beleive 150 some odd on the speedometer. But, like it was stated earlier, the speedometer is supposed to be very inaccurate towards the higher end. I'd like to see someone verify a top speed either with radar or a gps. I would but I don't have access to a hand held gps.

On my 99 Lude i hit 150mph agains at 3000GT SL, didnt go more cause i chickened out story at po.com.
