I have reused a set 4 times and never had any problems.

you can use them an infinite amount of times as long as they arent overtorqued and undergo plastic deformation causing necking/thinning of the rod. People who say 3-4 times you do not understand metallurgy...

I believe most ARP headstuds are of the torque to yield type, this means if you follow their torque and lube procedure correctly and do not over torque you can use them an infinite amount of times. once over torqued passed their yield limit they will stretch and lose their strength. best to measure them precisely once purchased and everytime they are reused to make sure they have not stretched. call them with any questions as i once called about their torque recommendation for using oringed copper gasket and arp lube vs 30 weight oil, the torque required was like 30lbs more than in their insallation guide.

actually if you over torque them they will undergo strain hardening, which to a certain point will make them stronger, but more brittle, which is a bad thing even though they have a higher tensile strength.

will make them stronger but not uniformly and impossible to gauge correct torque value for reuse - work hardened studs are garbage.
