Default Anybody ever run a fuel cell?

**have you ever looked under your car and realized that the only thing that prevents you from running straight back exhaust is your gas tank?

I want to run a straight back exhaust, to reduce weight as much as possible, to have a nice middle exixting exhaust (like a bmw m3 or whateever) and to just simplify the underside of the car. part of my dream car project.

anybody ever run a fuel cell in their efs? I was looking at alluminum cells and for a 10 gallon its about 180 bucks, which isn't bad (abs tanks are 145) but I don't know how much the rest of the setup is gona cost, the lines, filters, fittings and the pump.

anybody know the approximate price? and can i run the stock fuel lines?

you could tie it in to the stock system. you're looking at around 100 for an inline pump, and get some fuel hose and tie it back in. but if you're gonna do a fuel cell, you might as well do it all new, steel braided etc, but then you're looking at some money

running a fuel cell just to eliminate some bends in the exhaust seems a little pointless.

i was just gonna say the hell with my gas tank and put a cell in b/c my gas tank was kikcing my ***, but im a cheap bastard so i just messed with the tank a little longer and got it in, as far as the bends in the exhaust, they arent all that resctrictive imo.
