If it's an EG, it will have it stamped on it. I highly doubt your coupe has a 4040 prop valve.

My stock one was 3035.

i have an EJ1......the coupe........will it be stamped on it?......previous owner may have had a prop valve go bad or misdiagnosed something, and put the 40/40 on it.....

restating the question:
I have an 1994 EJ1, will my prop valve have 4040 stamped on it if it is a 4040 valve?

well if you lock the rear before the front, ur gonna end up sideways when u brake hard. Just find out what prop valve your car came with, seach the classifieds and buy one.

I have a 92 cx with gsr front and rear brakes. Stock M/C and rear prop valve. Pedal goes down a little lower but braking is tight and consistent, only locks up when I really press on them. You will have no problems.

A Master Cylinder from a 91 civic sedan ex which is 15/16 will bolt right up no problems and a 3040 rear prop valve seems to be the right choice with rear discs on these setups. You can go 4040 prop valve but I personally feel that is a little much. Or you could go adjustable rear valve.

This is what I am going and have heard good results with better pedal feel on these setups.

Good luck.

Mine does to but I know there could be a little stiffer feel there with a 1/8 bigger master cylinder.
