shift linkage to tranny leak

shift linkage to tranny leak
i have a 94 civic sedan and its leaking some kind of oil from the shift linkage. The oil is coming out from a rubber boot that is connected to the shift linkage. Never seen this b4, should the rubber boot be clamped on both ends?. Its leaving a small size puddle everytime i leave the drive way... need some help
