who else got the reflash (hondata)
Me and a friend just drove from north jersey, to rpm in ny so they can send out the his 06 si's ecu to get the reflash.
He has exhaust, header, and intake right now, and ran i think 14.5 was his best time on semi slicks. I'm sure with some more practice it will get lower, it was only his 3rd time drag racing ever.
this friday we will go and pick up the freshly flashed ecu, and hopefully go to the track the same day.
heres a picture of it at the carwash

he just bought those to throw the semi slicks onto. After the track he puts the other ones back on.
the only reason he bought it in red, was because his ek which was red was stolen, so the next day he bought that car to replace it.

I thought they could only not perform repairs under warranty if they can show that the part caused the malfunction.
Ive got an exhaust on mine and they tried pulling that crap on me when my freakin window came off track, and they told me that it wasnt under warranty because the car was 'modified'.
Dealership ******
Plus, I had the dealership I test drove the Habi Red Si at tell me that an intake or ANY modification to the car would void any and all warranties on the car as a whole.

w00t! They just called us, so we are going right now to pick up the ecu. I'll get back to you guys on how much of a difference the owner feels, and hopefully a quick video clip, of the video i've been working on for some friends.
an intake or exhaust system does not void ur warranty for anything. i spoke wiht several honda reps about those and the main person at the local dealership who handles all warranty claims. the only reason an intake would void a warranty is if something got sucked up through the filter and damaged something. the exhaust will void nothing. the header will (DCRH) because it eliminates the o2 and cat converter. so hold off on the header if possible for a while. and go back to the dealer and tell them to fix ur window or u will take legal action because what they are doing is criminal. expletive the dealers who hate on modification. it's just releasing the power the engine already has :D

Man, I sure wish I did not life a state that DEMANDS a Catalytic Convertor. I want to put header and reflash on my car so bad,

Picked up the ecu today, came home popped in the plugs, and let it sit with the car on for about 10 minutes. Took the car to get some gas. Hopped onto the highway and let her rip. Its crazy, we had the car at half throttle at 5000rpm, so the cars VTEC still wasnt engaged, pushed the pedal down and it just opened up. Very big difference. We raced an evo MR, and it only beat us from a roll by like 2 cars. My friend was excited because the car chirped 4th, which it never did before. Hopefully we will be able to get the car to the track sometime soon, to see what its capable of there.

The MR YOU saw at the track could have had more work done to it, the one YOU saw at the track was racing from a stop (awd would have owned us) we were racing him from a roll. The MR YOU saw at the track could have been a better driver then the guy driving this one. We just came back from some races today, the SI was racing almost everything they threw at him.
06si vs stock s2000: 06si got the launch, but missed second, didnt lose by much.
06si vs sentra spec-v: beat the spec v by 2-3 cars, the specv had beat a stock 06si 10 minutes earlier
06si vs 92-95 civic 4dr with a worked gsr or b20: eg 4dr was jumping the gun, so 06si had to chase, and he did chase him and passed his *** up. and the eg owner said that he let off (bullshit)
06si vs 240sx with skyline motor at 15psi: 06si got the launch, 240sx couldn hook 1st or 2nd by that time civic was gone.
240sx wants to go again: same outcome
06si vs crx with a dirty bseries: 06si gives crx a car, 06si wins by like 3-4 cars
all races were done on avon semi-slicks. Car was hooking beautifully.
