jdm integra headlight question
i noticed that some jdm front integras have the corners that stay on and blink brighter as you blink. kind of like a dual stage. similair to the EG (92-95) civics and how they blink. i was wondering does anyone have the part # to the corner plugs or what corner plug from what car did they use. Its a 3 wire plug. any help is usefull
i usually grab the bumper light socket and plug it into the corner light..you may have to shave a little plastic off the mounting grooves to get it to fit though..5 min job at most
ummmm instead of doing all that, why not just get the socket meant for an 1157 bulb and wire accordingly? Besides...you can use your existing wiring for it anyway. That's what I did with mine.
no its not. All you're going to be doing is splicing / soddering the three existing wires you already have in your wiring harness to the three wires that come with the socket. Then all you'd need is the bulb. Its easier and you'd actually be doing it properly instead of modifying something that did NOT need to be modified.
As I said, I did it to my own ride when I had the jdm front installed.

i guess its all in the way you look at it..your was you dont need to mod the socket..my way you dont mod the wiring..you say you did it your way when you installed your jdm fron..ive done two jdm fronts..its pretty much apples and oranges..they both work
arguing aside..its all up to you we just gave you two ways to do it

im just trying to be light something up in the corner. my side markers are off and corners are off when im driving all you can see is the headlights so i wanted something on the side and i dont want to be a ricer and leave the orange side marker on.
btw..you know you can wire your turn signal to stay on and also blink..you may think its rice but its still really functional that way
if your interested pm me ill tell you how

Well I wasn't trying to argue. Sorry if it came off that way.
With mine, I just took the existing wiring harness ( you should have 4 total. 2 ground, 1 for the blinker and 1 for constant on either side), went and bought two 1157 sockets ( that fit ) and wired it up. That way, I didn't have to re-do/ mod any of the existing wiring harness other than just soddering it in accordingly with the ones that came with the sockets. End result, I had a constant amber corner and it blinked whenever I used the turn signal
The sidemarker wire was spliced into the wire for the blinker so it only came on when the turn signal was used.

lilmike i know what your talkinga bout.. i've done this mod.. if anyone hasn't helped you yet.. this is what you need to do..
these turn signals are gonna be using dual filament bulbs which are 1157.. so grab a pair of those.. and call up a local pep boys and ask for the part #84809(Motormite/Conduct-Tite 84809 socket designed for our cars i believe thats what your main ? was) if they ask you.. most likely they won't have it since 3 of local pepboys down here didn't but just give them a call and special order it takes about 2-3 days and run about 3-5 dollars a piece.. after that i used my existing wire harness from the turn signals from the USDM front.. and spliced the 3 wires into that ( +, -, and ground) and you should be good to go
.. feel free to ask me anymore questions good luck

yea im trying to find sockets that fit with 3 wires. and i wanted it to be constant on and blink brighter like the civics. i seen this done on some JDM conversion integras just never got an answer on how they did it.

heh....this was exactly what I've been saying
Only, I didn't have the part number handy
