Default Skunk 2 springs on a 90 DA

hey, i just recently installed some skunk 2 springs w/ tokico blues on my 90 DA. now im 100% certain that the front is lowered 2.5 and the back 2.25 now after finishing the install i noticed the back is lower than the front how could this be? and i may also add that the handling is nice but the ride is really bouncy and uncomfortable for Daily driving. have i done something wrong here? i have 2 pictures for refference..

what does it ride like? and aren't the skunk2 race springs drop too much for the tokico blues?.. meaning they'll blow?

well, right before i got rid of it, i cut the stock springs and kept the back s2 springs on. i also had blues. the car rode fine then; it was only the front springs that fucked everything up. i mean for God's sake; if i slowed down while in a curve, my front tires would squeal from the voilent bouncing
i would recommend tein, but watch out for tein ripoffs. they are the only othersprings ive experienced with DAs, and they rode 100000000x better than skunk2 springs.

i had my "setup" for several months. despite riding like a monster truck, none of the blues went bad on my car.

prepare to have nightmares. its not too late though. sell the springs on Egay and find some nonfake teins. if i had a car newer than 14 years old to modify, i sure as hell wont be going with any cheap parts at all. i learned my lesson. its too bad full coilover systems cost as much as most DAs lol.

true that. i'll just save up for some better springs and a good set of shocks..

i heard H&R's and neuspeeds are really stiff but they ride alot better then skunk2?

i would bet my left ******** they would ride better, based on the fact that ive tried to imagine worse, but simply cant. try searching; there are some decent threads with a lot of reviews/opinions on different lowering springs.

i've been searchin for the past weeks. i just want a good stiff spring that lowers my car about 2.5 inches.

i've heard s2 springs ride good and bad. just can't seem to get the right answer.

Wow, I'm glad I read this b4 purchasing a set of Skunk2's. I was considering them, but I didn't want that low of a ride. The ride must really suck bigtime if noone seems to like them at all.

hey i just recently found out why they ride so rough, a buddy of mine told me that (even though it is not stated in the instructions) you need to trim the bumpstops about 1/3 off to give the shock the travel that it needs that way the ride isnt bouncy. ill be doing this within the week and ill be keeping you guys posed.

You might want to try the Ksport GT lowering springs... alot of us DA owners have Ksport Suspension installed and the springs works wonderful.. can't imagine any other brand.. But give that a shot. They are design to be drop the way you need it to be.

You could get it here..
