How far can i raise up my stock DA exhaust?

How far can i raise up my stock DA exhaust?
Ive been to several muffler shops to ask if i can raise up my exhaust, cause it is causing ground clearance issues, and alot of them said not really. Has anyone raised up their stock exhaust piping on a DA? and approximately how much ground clearance did you gain? thanks
