Default People that have used the Summit racing battery relocate kit.

Does it come with a Distro block? Or do I even need one? I was looking at this. http://store.summitracing.com/...w=sku

But if I don't need that than that's money i'm saving. Please only comment on your personal experiences, not what you've heard.

TIA.

What is it you are trying to do exactly? Just a relocation, are you adding a kill switch? Do you need it setup to meet NHRA rules? There are different setups and none require a distribution block.

I don't think u get one with the kit. You should get one, i don't know if its totally necessary but easier.. you run the batt. cable to the distro block in the engine bay somewhere, then off the block to the starter/fuse box etc.

Here are some diagrams, pardon the crude paint drawings-

NHRA compliant relocation-

None have a distribution block. Unmarked box in drawing is the switch.
