H22 Idle Issues
Hey there well I am like almost done with this car. the problem is that the car sputters and idles supper low. (650-500) and when I put it in drive it Dies. I tried to adjust the idle but the screw is already all the way out and it still Idles low and Dies. also the car has black smoke coming out the rear when I gas it. (4-6K RPM) I replaced all the injecotr O rings with new ones. and it still does the same. I am throwing code 3 (MAP) and Code 12 (EGR). The lower header is cracked and needs replacement. so I am also in the market for that, I prefer an OEM unit but will take anithing as I need it BADLY. so yeah that pretty much makes all teh problems as of right now. any Ideas???

Congratulations on the engine swap. Your 2 codes, MAP and EGR, are the probable causes of your idle problems. A bad MAP sensor will make the idle work improperly, depending on the MAP sensor defect. The bad EGR will dump hot exhaust into the intake when it shouldn't, and might be the cause of the black smoke. Get those replaced and see if that takes care of your idle.
