So i posted awhile back that i got a knock from sucking water in my engine. I pulled my engine and wil be pulling it apart but not sure where the best deals for getting parts are.
I want to increase my comprssion to atlest 11:1, possibly 12:1 if i can afford it and going .25 over. I have stock piston rods which should be ok. Will need rings. I also want to replace my intake manifold and valvetrane WIth high compression everything. I was thinking just getting type r cams, or should i go with a specific company? Oh, its a gsr. ANy recomandations would be great. I would like to spend no more than 2000 on parts if its possible.

different intake manifold won't add much power... money is better spent elseware.

marketplace has good deals...I'd get oversized P73 pistons to bump your compression, and Blox stage b cams This should give you decent power!
