TORONTO INTEGRA TYPE R OWNERS MEET 2006 !!!!!


After much interest for a meet this year, that is NOT at a mall, I've decided to take the step and organize what will definately be a break from the usual, and prove to be a meet to remember! After some discussion with many of the fellow GTA ITR owners, it was appearent that things like theft and police attention were issues that we've all delt with, and would like to avoid. As a result, we decided to move the meet just outside the city to address these problems.

On to the details:

Location:

For this meet, through personal contacts, I was able to book us in at the beautiful Hockley Valley Resort, which is just 45 minutes north of the GTA (Orangeville area). We have a larger section of the parking lot taped off and reserved for us for meet and greets, and photo shoots.






We will be having a private Barbecue Lunch on the Horizons Patio, where we will be able to eat and drink (responsibly). The menu is as follows:

Signature Barbeque Lunch

From The Grill

Sirloin Burgers*

Pesto Marinated Chicken*
OR
Italian Sausage*
OR
Balsamic Marinated and Grilled Seasonal Vegetables*

All sandwiches are served on fresh baked ciabatta bread and accompanied by:

Tuscan Pasta Salad

Choice of Deli Potato Chips

Condiments and Sides
Dijon, Pommery and Yellow Mustard
Ketchup
Relish
Hot Peppers
Sliced Summer Tomatoes
Basket of Lettuce Leaves
Sliced Onion
Kosher Style Deli Pickles

The price per person is only $9.95 + tax and tip. I'm sorry but I couldn't get it any cheaper
I will be fronting the money for this menu and ask you to please have cash ready for me when you come so I can be reimbursed.

In addition, if we could all collectively decide on what we'd like to eat (sirloin burgers, chicken, sausages - pick one) and for individuals who don't eat red meat or who are vegetarians we could substitute for you. I figured most people would like the sirloin burgers, so let me know if I'm wrong!

Beer and Booze is available to everyone, but is paid for by the individual.

As mentioned, we have a section of the parking lot taped off for us. I've requested a space large enough to accommodate 15-20 cars with space to move. Parking will not be an issue Ferrari does their car shows here as well and it's a great location for it.

NEXT UP ON THE AGENDA

From the Hockley Valley Resort, after lunch, we will take a safe (yet spirited!) drive through the Hockley valley, up Airport road, and down the 20th sideroad to our next destination, MONO CLIFFS. In Mono Cliffs we will stop in at a wikked pub for drinks, more photos, and whatever else we feel like. It's a short, but cool senic drive, with plenty of tight corners and straights to have a little fun, (but most of all to be safe - no retarded driving or I will personally kill you). From Mono Cliffs, we all go home.


Arrival Time at Hockley Resort will be 10:45AM
Lunch will be at 1:00PM
Price is $9.95 / Person + tax and tip payable to me on the date

Cancellations cost me money

I have space for 20 People/Cars. If there is not enough people, we can bring a few guests (spouce, girlfriend, friend) because I had to pay for a minimum of 20 people up front for lunch!

I will post more details when I get them. Any questions, feel free to ask! I'm a noob at meet orgainizing, so if you have suggestions, please give input.

Yep, something diffrent and out of the city. High class, but cheap

Well, if you were going to come up to T.O. for a meet, than ya might as well drive the extra half hour or so It's an easy rip up Airport road.

I remeber the first time I went up that way and a family memeber offered me a pop. I was like a what?

Where are you located that is 4 hours from TO? Ottawa?

 

peter i think hes further west of toronto ie guelph/london/hamilton area.

 

I think we should all meet up somewhere in the GTA area and then all drive up together

its just an idea
